Open chooses a DOCX, ODT, TXT, Markdown or HTML file. Save downloads a file and does not replace the original automatically. “Files / Share” offers more save options.
Drafts stay on this device and in this installation. To move them to another installation, use “Back up drafts” in the original and “Import drafts” in the other. Importing adds documents without removing the ones that are open.
The JSON backup contains your text and comments and is not encrypted. Keep it somewhere safe. Also keep your regular DOCX files, because browser data may be cleared. The app does not sync between devices automatically.
On touch screens, move the active tab with the ← Tab / Tab → buttons. To format, select the paragraph and choose the style under Tools.
